Pastor Bill Young was born again at the age of twelve at a Billy Graham crusade in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Penn State University and Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma,  Bill is an ordained minister with the Rhema Ministerial Association International. He has served faithfully in the ministry of helps for over 20 years and has been involved in pastoral and teaching ministry since 1983. He is a gifted teacher of the Word and has a teaching style that makes the Bible easy to understand. He was an instructor at Erie Christian Bible Institute for four years and teaches a weekly half-hour TV program called "Faith is a Lifestyle" that airs on Erie Spectrum Cable channel 1021 / CAM Media. Bill and his wife Valerie are the proud parents of five children, David, Julian, Dean, Glory, Sarah and the grandparents of little Hudson James, Penelope Ann, Dino and Sydney.

 

Assistant Pastor Charles Heidelberg is our Director of Children and Youth ministries. He is an ordained minister and a former local executive board member for the Assemblies of God. Charles spent over 20 years as the strength and conditioning coach for Cathedral Prep High School in Erie, PA and continues to be a positive influence for Christ in the lives of young men throughout the Erie region. He and his wife Regina have been married for over 50+ years and have 2 children.

 

Worship Leader Valerie Young  brings a wealth of experience and gifts to MGCC. She is an accomplished vocalist who is known throughout the Erie region and beyond. Valerie began singing with her Horton family children's choir at age 7 at Good Samaritan AME Zion Church in Erie. She went on to sing professionally with many well known artists in the US and Europe, but her greatest joy is singing for the Lord Jesus Christ. She has a passion for worship and excellence that lifts the worship of God to a dynamic level. Bill and Valerie are the proud parents of five children, David, Julian, Dean, Glory, Sarah and the grandparents of little Hudson James, Penelope Ann, Dino and Sydney.
